Crystal Cave Gold is a puzzle game by 300AD. The game has a very old-school feel. If you ever played the classic version of Dig Dug, then you would understand. In the game you travel to several different scenarios in search for huge gemstones in archeological sites. These gemstones are buried underground and several obstacles are in your way. These can be stones and walls blocking your path towards the next gem. The way to go round these obstacles is to dig in a certain way that you clear your path towards the gem. If there is nothing else blocking your way, you can move the stones to were you want them to be.
The full game includes 100 levels that are well-crafted and provide a solid puzzle experience. Crystal Cave Gold looks very old-school, but you get a good quality feel to it. It does not feel like one of those games with ugly graphics that were meant for other times. You can tell this game was made this way because they wanted to. This game will be a great addition to your puzzle collection, and it's great both for kids and grownups. The main issue might be the price tag of the game, but you can try it before you buy it. |
